 Welcome

The Club was established in late 2007 and a field was leased from the Shire of Dardanup at the beginning of 2008. Facilities at the field are now well established with the addition of a Club house and toilet in 2010. A pictorial overview of the development can be found at this website under the Club Documents link.

Members are welcome to fly any day of the week, with most flying happening on Saturday and Sunday; Wednesday morning is a popular time for our "retired" members.

The Club has a high percentage of "gas" powered aircraft and a smaller number of members flying electric powered craft and helicopters.

Currently, there are no restrictions on the type of aircaft which can be flown, although the high standards of safety at the Club are carefully maintained.

Training for new members is available on Saturdays and on Sundays by resident DAMS Club members who are Instructors approved by the MAAA.  The club has two trainer style aircraft, and using a buddy box, this provides a safe way for inexperienced pilots to learn new skills.
